Delicate and valuable rugs
Antique, silk, hand-knotted, heirloom or very valuable rugs need individual assessment. Some dyes can bleed and some fibres are sensitive to water or heat. We will look at the rug — usually from photos first — and give an honest recommendation. Where a rug needs specialist workshop cleaning, we will tell you.
Drying
Rugs are cleaned with controlled moisture and should dry within several hours in a well-ventilated room. Thick or shaggy rugs may take longer.
